Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Greenridge Pike Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 944 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
