Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Fernwood Loom Insurance is an insurance company in Denver with claims and service teams, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about premium billing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
