Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Ironwood Wilder Medical designs and makes medical devices in Richmond, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
