Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Harborlight Stone Care Services supports families and individuals in Indianapolis with personal care and coordination, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
