Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Clearpath Granite Community Partners is a nonprofit in San Jose supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about food distribution into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
