Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Rivermark Union Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Boston, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
