Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Fernwood Ivory Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
