Software Engineer - mobile experience (Raleigh, NC)

Lumen Wren Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Raleigh focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about field visits into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
