Software Engineer - mobile experience (Providence, RI)

Amberfield Timber Medical Partners builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Providence. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
