Software Engineer - mobile experience (Pittsburgh, PA)

Bluepeak Amber Medical Group is a Pittsburgh company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
