Software Engineer - mobile experience (Pittsburgh, PA)

Harborlight Rowan Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about supply orders into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
