Software Engineer - mobile experience (Orlando, FL)

Highbridge Haven Insurance is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
