Software Engineer - mobile experience (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Willow Insurance and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
