Software Engineer - mobile experience (Nashville, TN)

Lumen Umber Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
