Software Engineer - mobile experience (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cedar Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about service installations into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
