Software Engineer - mobile experience (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Summit Quarry Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Madison. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
