Software Engineer - mobile experience (Madison, WI)

Nova Drift Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Madison. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
