Software Engineer - mobile experience (Louisville, KY)

Summit Birch Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Louisville focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
