Software Engineer - mobile experience (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Redstone Rook Financial and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Turn requests about account servicing into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
