Software Engineer - mobile experience (Louisville, KY)

Rivermark West Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Louisville, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
