Software Engineer - mobile experience (Jacksonville, FL)

Lumen Hollow Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Jacksonville, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about service installations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
