Software Engineer - mobile experience (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ashton Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about trust accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
