Software Engineer - mobile experience (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Silverline Willow Community Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
