Software Engineer - mobile experience (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Cross Transit Planning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Turn requests about service alerts into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
