Software Engineer - mobile experience (Honolulu, HI)

Northwind Rowan Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
