Software Engineer - mobile experience (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Corner Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Hartford. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
