Software Engineer - mobile experience (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Cobalt Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Hartford. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 534 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
