Software Engineer - mobile experience (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Pike Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 701 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
