Software Engineer - mobile experience (El Paso, TX)

Greenridge Field Community Partners is a El Paso charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
