Software Engineer - mobile experience (El Paso, TX)

Amberfield Keystone Energy is an energy provider in El Paso focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about usage data into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
