Software Engineer - mobile experience (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Juniper Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
