Software Engineer - mobile experience (Denver, CO)

Fernwood Forge Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Denver region, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 973 people based in Denver. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
