Software Engineer - mobile experience (Denver, CO)

Highbridge Wren Energy Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
