Software Engineer - mobile experience (Denver, CO)

Ironwood Birch Energy is an energy provider in Denver focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 208 people based in Denver. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about hardship programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
