Software Engineer - mobile experience (Denver, CO)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance Partners sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Denver. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
