Software Engineer - mobile experience (Cincinnati, OH)

Westbrook Union Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about patient education into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
