Software Engineer - mobile experience (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Lantern Medical designs and makes medical devices in Chicago. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
