Software Engineer - mobile experience (Charleston, SC)

Summit Cedar Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 887 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
