Software Engineer - mobile experience (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Linden Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Buffalo, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
