Software Engineer - mobile experience (Buffalo, NY)

Fernwood Union Legal Group is a Buffalo practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with document review. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
