Software Engineer - mobile experience (Boston, MA)

Summit Fox Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Boston. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
