Software Engineer - mobile experience (Boise, ID)

Bright Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Boise area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boise. What you will do • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
