Software Engineer - mobile experience (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Ivory Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
