Software Engineer - mobile experience (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Lakeside Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about referrals into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
