Software Engineer - mobile experience (Baltimore, MD)

Stonegate Mill Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Baltimore, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
