Software Engineer - mobile experience (Atlanta, GA)

Highbridge Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Atlanta design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about fare systems into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
