Software Engineer - mobile experience (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Birch Energy and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
