Software Engineer - mobile experience (Albuquerque, NM)

Harborlight Forge Telecom Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
