Software Engineer - internal tools (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Willow Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for regulatory filings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about regulatory filings into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory filings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
