Software Engineer - internal tools (Tulsa, OK)

Clearpath Pike Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Tulsa, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about student accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
